World Bank Renews Partnership with Nicaragua

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On March 15th 2018, the World Bank approved loans for Nicaragua that total US $ 145 million earmarked for improving healthcare, road improvement and to promote regularity with land titles.In addition, they signed the renewal of the partnership agreement with Nicaragua for the period 2018-2022. The Country Partnership Strategy is aimed at helping Nicaragua continue its economic development which is recognized as being among the fastest growing in Latin America. The new investments are financed by the International Development Association, the World Bank entity that helps the poorest countries.

For Nicaragua, the loans will help the progress of the government’s National Human Development Plan for better living conditions for its population, economic growth and the reduction of poverty by increased employment.
